Shrove Tuesday, Winter Activity Day & Ash Wednesday Mass

Dear Saint Mary Families:
We have enough wonderful volunteers in order to make pancakes on Shrove Tuesday, March 5, 2019. We could still use a couple more griddles so please contact the office if you can send one in for the big day. A note was sent home today reminding all students to bring a plate and fork to school on that day as we will gather together for the first nutrition break (10:45 am). Please be sure to label your child's utensils and send a plastic bag for them to go back home in for washing. Students should still bring snacks/lunch for the other nutrition break.
After our luncheon, we will have our Winter Activity Day during the middle block (11:25 am - 1:05 pm). Please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately. Extra socks and mitts are recommended for this fun event!
Finally, Ash Wednesday is on March 6, 2019 this year. We will celebrate Mass @ 9:50 am with the distribution of ashes to mark the first day of Lent. All are welcome to join us. Please note that pizza will be cheese only until after Easter.
